SyncNotes.com has released a Pocket PC client for its Web-based note synchronization service. SyncNotes is a system that allows users to easily store, retrieve, and even communicate small pieces of textual information, according to the company.

SyncNotes lets users create notes on any Internet-connected computer with a SyncNotes client. Notes entered on multiple computers are synchronized through the user's "Notebox," which resides on SyncNotes.com's server. Users can send notes to each other as easily as sending email, the company says. Once stored in the Notebox, notes can be viewed with a web browser.

SyncNotes PPC, the client for Pocket PC devices, operates in a "not always connected" mode, meaning that changes to notes are stored locally and are synchronized online when the device has an active Internet connection.

The service is free. Click here to sign up. The SyncNotes clients are available here.
