It features a 2.5-inch high-shock hard drive, with up to 80 GB of storage. The hard drive can also be replaced by an IDE Flash disk, for additional shock and vibration resistance. A slim 24X CD-ROM is another standard feature, with DVD-ROM, DVD/DVDRW, and CD-RW drives available as options.
Stealth Computer is aiming the LPC-401FS at industrial, commercial, scientific research, military, public safety, utility, transportation, mining, and telecommunications applications. It operates from a 12V DC power source, making it suitable for mobile and field deployment, the company says.
