        Rugged panel PC supports Windows Embedded

        Axiomtek's newest panel PC features an 8.4-inch LCD and internal PC/104 expansion for extended functionality. The GOT-1840T supports both Windows CE and Windows XP Embedded, and is packaged in a rugged, fanless design suitable for harsh industrial environments, according to the company.

        The GOT-1840T panel PC is based on a low power Via Eden processor running at 667 MHz with up to 512 MB of SDRAM. Its 8.4-inch LCD is offered with either a tempered glass panel or a resistive touchscreen. The 16-bit PC/104 module expansion location supports functions such as extender communication interfaces, data acquisition and control, or motion control, according to the company.

        Axiomtek lists the following key features and specifications for the GOT-1840T:
