- Microsoft launches Wi-Fi "hot spot" collaboration, 30-day free service -- Microsoft announced a collaboration with three leading high-speed wireless service providers -- T-Mobile HotSpot, Boingo Wireless and Wayport. The arrangement is intended to make it easier for its US customers to locate, access, and use Wi-Fi wireless services with their mobile devices, through access to more than 3,500 Wi-Fi "hot spot" locations in the US.
