
SanDisk's new SD combo card folds to expose its USB connector
(Click each image to enlarge)The new approach eliminates the need to use SD-to-USB adapters when accessing the contents of an SD card on a laptop, PC, or other system that lacks an integrated SD card slot. The combo card's USB interface supports USB 2.0.
SanDisk said in a recent announcement that it expects to introduce cards based on the technology during Q1, 2005, in capacities as high as one gigabyte.
