SIP server is said to enable multiple users with WiFi phones to make VoIP calls, while an embedded PBX transfers calls and shares a single line among the users.

A608R front panelThe A608R is based on an Intel Celeron M clocked at 1.5 GHz, and is equipped with 256 MB of RAM and up to 8 GB of CompactFlash memory. The unit also supports an optional hard drive.

According to FifthMedia "chief program officer Yogi Babria, the A608R is a "unique HSDPA [set-top] box, reinvented with multiple voice, data communications and ePayment capability. We converge into a single device all the functions and desired applications required for business and home users."
The A608R is expected to be available in July, with an initial focus on communication applications for the SOHO (small office / home office) market, the company said.
