(Click here for larger image)Samsung describes the i320 as a "super-slim" bar-style handset, measuring just under a half an inch thick and weighing in at 3.35 oz. The unit features a 2.2-inch QVGA LCD screen and a 1.3 Mpixel camera. It supports Bluetooth wireless but not WiFi.

"The trend and popularity of slim phones will be carried over to the smartphone market," said Kitae Lee, president of Samsung's Telecommunications Network Business. "Samsung will lead the trend of smartphones by combining its cutting-edge technology and sleek ultra-slim designs."
Following its initial release in Europe, the i320 is expected to launch shortly in Southeast Asia, according to Samsung. No word on when the device might be available in North America.
