Peripheral options include a variety of printers, bar-code scanners, customer-facing displays, payment terminals, and biometric devices.

In addition to WEPOS, the RealPOS 21 can be supplied with Windows XP Embedded, XP Professional, or Novell Linux Point of Service (NLPOS), NCR says.
The RealPOS 21 appears to be available now. Pricing was not disclosed.
