"Jazz", runs Windows CE and is compliant with Microsoft's
Portable Media Center (PMC) standard, according to Freescale.

Jazz uses a Freescale i.MX21 ("MX" stands for "Media eXtensions") processor based on the ARM926EJ-S core. Specifications of the Jazz reference design board include:
- 15/20/30 gigabyte 1.8-inch hard drive (see picture of back, to the right)
- 64MB SDRAM plus 64MB Flash memory
- 3.5-inch 320x240 16-bit color LCD
- Stereo decode, FM radio receiver
- TV output support in PAL and NTSC formats
- Push-button based user interface
- USB 2.0, Ethernet, and UART interfaces
- UAT/JTAG/Ethernet for development and debugging
According to Freescale, the i.MX21 processor's ARM926 core provides native security and accelerated Java support in addition to highly integrated system functions.
