BravoBrava! says it is demonstrating new capabilities of its multimedia playback software -- including the viewing of live television on cell phones -- at DEMO 2004. BravoBrava! says its AllMiMedia software enables a wide range of digital content -- including photos, music, Microsoft Media Center stored content, live TV, and Internet TV and radio -- to be remotely accessed and controlled via a web-enabled...
cell phone or PDA.
"With AllMiMedia, a person could remotely program his TiVo to record 'The West Wing' and play it back later, or even watch it live from his cell phone," commented Dr. Luc Julia, BravoBrava's co-founder and vice president of research and development.
AllMiMedia technology is available in versions for the Media Center Edition 2004, Windows XP and 2000 PCs, TiVo with Home Media Option, and Linux devices such as PCs or set-top boxes. AllMiMedia's user interface runs on Pocket PC, Palm OS, and any other Internet connected device with a web browser interface. AllMiMedia includes complete PVR (personal video recorder) capabilities, a secure registration website, client software for multiple platforms, and dozens of applications for a wide variety of information services, home controls and games.
