        Suite of 3G and WiFi development toolkits supports Windows CE .NET

        Radvision has added 3G and WiFi features to its line of toolkits for broadband mobile wireless application development that support Windows CE .NET, among other embedded OSes. Radvision's "Ensemble" toolkits now support "all the main application protocols needed for the delivery of one-way, bidirectional, and multipoint data and multimedia content over a broadband mobile network," the company claims.



        Supported protocols include:
        • SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) according to RFC3261
        • SIP/SIMPLE (Presence and Instant Messaging)
        • 3G-324M (for real-time multimedia over 3G)
        • RTSP (Real Time Streaming Protocol)
        • RTP/RTCP (Real Time Transport Protocol/Real Time Transport Control Protocol)
        New and upgraded toolkits include:
        • SIP Toolkit -- API libraries for developing all types of SIP User Agents, including 3G cellular phones and PDAs
        • SIP Server Platform -- A framework for developing SIP Server applications. Supports IPv6 and Loose Routing.
        • 3G-324M Toolkit -- APIs for developing advanced multimedia communication solutions for 3G networks and terminals.
        • RTSP Client Toolkit -- Library for developing streaming applications for fixed IP or 3G.
        • RTP/RTCP Toolkit -- Support new features required for 3G implementations
        In addition to its Ensemble software development toolkits, Radvision offers professional design and development services, along with 3G-oriented hardware components.
