In an enterprise-focused session at 11:00 AM, it's promised that top executives from the enterprise solutions divisions of major device manufacturers will present their latest smartphone-based solutions. Scheduled speakers include Joe Tate, VP of the business handhelds unit at HP, and John Wang, CMO of prominent Windows Mobile handset-maker HTC.

In all, the Summit will include an analyst roundtable, plus about 15 sessions on topics such as security, mobile commerce, push email, GPS and location-based solutions, social networking, and entertainment.

In addition to the above one-day program of talks and sessions on Oct. 11, the Smartphone Summit will sponsor an Enterprise Mobility Pavilion on the main CTIA Wireless I.T. show floor.
