(Click here for larger image)The Mini DVR is powered by a 3 GHz Pentium 4 with an 800 MHz front side bus, and is equipped with 512 MB of dual-channel SDRAM. Input/output interfaces include two gigabit Ethernet ports and six USB 2.0 ports. Both VGA and TV-out are available; video input is via 16 BNC connectors, while audio input is via 16 RCA jacks, according to the company.
Two Mini DVR models are offered. The GV-1120M records up to 120 fps NTSC or 100 fps PAL from up to 16 channels at 320 x 240 resolution, GeoVision says. The GV-1240, meanwhile, can be configured for either eight or 16 channels; in eight-channel mode it records up to 240 fps NTSC or 200 fps PAL.

The Mini DVR supports remote access and monitoring over TCP/IP. Remote monitoring is supported from Windows Mobile smartphones and PDAs, as well as from Symbian devices, according to GeoVision.
The device supports multiple languages, including English, Arabic, French, German, Hebrew, Hungarian, Japanese, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese, according to the company.
The Mini DVR appears to be immediately available. Pricing was not disclosed.
