        TV tuner CF card for Pocket PCs

        Eops Technology announced a CompactFlash TV tuner card for Pocket PCs that can receive over-the-air analog broadcasts and display them on the Pocket PC screen in either 208 x 160 (portrait) or 320 x 240 (landscape) resolutions at 30 frames/sec.


        The card is supported on Microsoft's Pocket PC 2002 and Windows Mobile 2003 for Pocket PC OSes, and is currently being promoted for use in HP, Dell, and Toshiba Pocket PCs.

        In addition to the telescoping antenna, the TV tuner also has an audio/video input jack for connecting a camcorder, DVD player, or video game console through NTSC/PAL composite video and audio signals.
