The TETRALight-XXS features an 8.4-inch XGA high-brightness LCD with resistive touchscreen, 8MB shared video memory, 10/100 Mbit Ethernet LAN, and a range of high-capacity, removable hard drive. It also comes with two built-in waterproof speakers. The standard 3,600 mAH main battery runs the device for up to three hours, while an optional 5,400 mAH secondary battery extends operating time to six hours. Other options include an external keyboard and USB-interfaced external floppy and CD-RW drives.
In addition to an "industrial strength" model, the company also offers the TETRALight-XXS in a fully militarized version, with features such as NATO green color chassis, MIL-STD-461D electromagnetic emissions shielding, MIL spec connectors, (12 to 32 VDC power input, and low temperature rating to -20C).
