MSDN's "Channel 9" recently posted a video hosted by Mike Hall, Technical Product Manager on the Microsoft Windows CE team. Hall takes us on a 10 minute tour of Microsoft's Windows Embedded Lab, showing off the wide variety of devices using Windows CE and Windows XP Embedded.

These run the gamut -- from the usual PDAs and cell phones, to media players, point of sale terminals, industrial controllers, and even a sewing machine and an exercise bike.

        What is Channel 9?

On commercial airliners, channel 9 of the audio program is generally the cockpit radio so you can listen in as the flight progresses. Microsoft thinks developers need their own Channel 9, a way to listen in to the cockpit at Microsoft to see where things are going. Produced by five Windows platform evangelists, the site invites interaction and discussion between Microsoft employees and software developers worldwide. The site also features short video interviews with key technical leaders. The Channel 9 team invites employees and developers alike to participate, connect with users, and make suggestions for what they want to see next.
