MiddTec GmbH announced a development environment and software technology for migrating CORBA-based applications to the Microsoft .NET architecture. MiddTec claims its MiddCor.NET software enables existing CORBA applications to be deployed on a .NET infrastructure, and that support for deploying J2EE applications on .NET will be added soon.
According to MiddTec, MinCor.NET can link new devices such as smartphones and PDAs to the company's .NET and CORBA infrastructures on Windows-based operation systems.
