Another touted feature of the new thin clients is a built-in power supply that eliminates the external power "brick" required with many other thin clients. This results in easier installation, higher reliability, better ergonomics, and "fewer accidental power disconnects," the company says.

e140Neoware says the e140, which boasts a 1 GHz processor, is the company's highest performance thin client. Additionally, the device is one of the first thin clients to include digital video output (via DVI) for brighter, sharper truer-color images on flat panel monitors, according to the company.
