- ET4510x -- PCI slot expansion; runs Windows XP Embedded
- ET4520x -- PCMCIA slot expansion; runs Windows XP Embedded
- ET4520g -- PCMCIA slot expansion; runs Windows CE 5.0
All three models are based on the same system platform as the ET4500 and ET550, introduced last year, which uses a 667 MHz Via Eden processor complemented by up to 1 GB of RAM and 1 GB of flash memory, depending on the model. Additional key features include: graphics resolutions of up to 1280 x 1024 (depending on model); 10/100 RJ45 Ethernet with wake-on-LAN capability; USB 2.0 ports; RS232 serial ports; parallel port; PS/2 keyboard/mouse ports; and audio. According to CLI, all of the ET4500 series thin clients support multiple terminal emulations to access mainframe, midrange, UNIX, and other legacy applications. They also include an Internet Explorer browser, enabling the use of Web-based applications. Additionally, the devices come with the company's SNMP Administrator software, said to provide "complete control" of the thin client desktop.
The standard configuration of the ET4500 series includes a keyboard, mouse and a three-year warranty, according to CLI. All are available for immediate shipment through the company's resellers.
