        Tips & tricks for getting the most out of a Pocket PC

        Russian mobile software developer Spb Software House has released a new version of its collection of tips and tricks for the Pocket PC. Spb Pocket PC Tips & Tricks now has more than 200 entries written by ten well-known, experienced Pocket PC authors, according to the company.

        Spb says the new version adds more than 40 "system tweaks" that help users access undocumented Pocket PC features such installing CAB files to a storage card, renaming the storage card folder, disabling the start menu animation, changing all system fonts and colors, and so on.

        Among the tips and tricks included in the package, according to Spb, are:
        • Store more music on an SD card without quality loss
        • Watch DVDs on a Pocket PC without expensive converters
        • View all, not just one, upcoming appointments on the Today screen
