first shipped in October of 2004. Touted by OQO as "the world's smallest fully-functional PC," the Model 02 measures 5.6 x 3.3 x 1.0 inches and weighs "under one pound" with its standard battery. The device boasts a backlit, 58-key "thumb" keyboard with vertical and horizontal capacitive "touchscrollers," along with an active digitizer on the 5-inch wide-VGA LCD.
Verizon says that its BroadbandAccess data service offers average download speeds of 400-700 kilobits per second, and claims that the high-speed data network currently serves over 200 million customers in more than 240 "major metropolitan" U.S. areas.
OQO lists the following key features and specifications for the model 02:

According to Bob Rosin, OQO's senior VP of marketing and alliances, "Ultra mobile computing is about taking the same access to information and applications that you have at your desk, and putting it in a package you can carry with you all the time."
The Model 02 with embedded Verizon Wireless BroadbandAccess capability appears to be available through the company's
on-line store. Online pricing currently ranges between $1500 and $1850, with delivery times of up to 12 weeks, depending on options.
