        About the contest

The 2006 Windows CE Shared Source Contest, launched on May 23, challenges contestants to create device prototypes based on Windows CE along with the Shared Source webcam driver and/or the Shared Source DVR engine. The Grand Prize is a $2,500 Xbox 360 dream setup including console, 34-inch HDTV, games, and accessories for four. Three other winners will be awarded Xbox 360 game consoles. Entrants must submit their projects for judging by midnight PDT on July 28th, and winners will be announced on WindowsForDevices.com after August 15th.
