The HTC Touch Pro2, announced internationally in February, has already been put on sale by T-Mobile -- both in Europe, where it's known as the MDA Vario V, and in the U.S. -- and by Sprint, which released its version earlier this week. Now, Verizon is offering the Touch Pro2 too, as pictured below.

Like the Sprint variant, Verizon's Touch Pro2 has been modified to add compatibility with the carrier's CDMA network (2100MHz in this instance), and again retains all the capabilities of previously released versions, including international quad-band (850/900/1800/1900MHz) GSM. The only real news here is financial, rather than technical: Where the T-Mobile and Sprint versions of this phone go for approximately $350, Verizon is asking just $200.
As in other versions, Verizon's TouchPro2 sports a QWERTY keyboard that slides out at an angle via what HTC calls a "kick tail" mechanism, making the phone resemble a miniature laptop computer. Again, the device has a 3.6-inch screen with WVGA (800 x 480) resolution, plus Windows Mobile 6.1, HTC's TouchFLO 3D user interface, and a customized version of the Opera Mobile 9.5 web browser.
According to Verison, the Touch Pro2 additionally provides a high-quality speakerphone, plus "Straight Talk" technology that "provides a simple way to respond to email via a call, allows organizing conference calls from group e-mail, and makes it easy to turn any location into a conference room." The phone also has a 3.2 megapixel camera that can record still images or video, according to the carrier.
The Touch Pro2 features a 528MHz Qualcomm MDM7200 processor, backed by 288MB of RAM and 512MB of flash storage, Verizon says. GPS, Bluetooth, and WiFi are also on board, the company adds.

Availability
According to Verizon, its HTC Touch Pro2 will be available tomorrow for approximately $200, following the usual two-year service contract and mail-in rebate. More information may be found on the carrier's website, here.
