Spirit says TeamSpirit Mobile integrates optimized codecs, adaptive jitter buffer and PLC, and a range of voice enhancement components such as full-duplex acoustic echo cancellation, automatic gain control, and noise suppression. It supports either built-in or third-party SIP stacks, and provides network support (RTP/RTCP) and call control APIs. The SDK also provides the functionality required to ensure high quality voice exchange over WiFi connections, and can be enhanced with video support using standard H.263 and H.264 video codecs, the company adds.
According to the company, TeamSpirit Mobile supports devices running Windows Mobile 5.0, Windows Mobile 5.0 Smartphone Edition, Windows PocketPC 2003, and Windows Smartphone 2003. Additionally, it has been ported to "a dozen mobile platforms" including OMAP 850, 1510, 1030, and others; Intel XScale family; and "any ARM9 processors starting from 168 MHz."

Spirit says the
HTC Universal smartphone platform (shown at right), which is being distributed by T-Mobile, Orange, and Vodafone, contains its "embedded voice engine."

TeamSpirit Mobile is currently available for OEM licensing, according to the company. The company also offers VoIP SDKs for Windows CE- and Linux-based devices.
