A new presence at this year's Windows Embedded Developer Conference' (DevCon) is WE-DIG, a new Windows Embedded developer association that sprang up recently in Microsoft's back yard.

A founding member of WE-DIG (an acronym for Windows Embedded Developer Interest Group) says it was formed in April of this year by a group of Windows embedded developers in the Seattle area who wanted to meet regularly to discuss topics of mutual interest, revolving around . . .
        • Windows CE
        • Windows XP Embedded
        • Windows Mobile devices including Pocket PC and Smartphone
WE-DIG says it hopes to encourage the formation of similar groups in other areas where there's a concentration of Windows Embedded and Windows Mobile developers. The Seattle area WE-DIG chapter plans to meet on the first Wednesday of the month in Redmond.
