The next monthly meeting of the Windows Embedded Developers Interest Group (WE-DIG), to be held this Wednesday on Microsoft's Redmond campus, will look at current and future technologies for building "Smart Mobile Clients," with a particular focus on the Tablet PC and the .NET Compact Framework.

Arin Goldberg from the Tablet PC team will answer questions such as "What's a Tablet PC?", "What programming options are available?", "What's a real-time stylus?", and many more, the group says.

Seth Demsey, Microsoft's Development Lead on the .NET Compact Framework Team, will also be present to talk about .NET CF. Demsey has valuable insights for both beginners and .NET experts, according to WE-DIG's meeting announcement.

The meeting will be held January 12th at 6:30pm in the Quinalt Room, Building 34 on the Microsoft Redmond Campus. There will be the "usual assortment of fun give-aways, and also some really great pizza." Yum!
