Microsoft says it will tweak the automatic updating feature in Windows 8 to be less annoying than Windows 7's. Windows Update will give three days' advance warning of an automatic restart, consolidate all restarts in a one-month period, and delay a restart if user data could be affected, a posting on the company's Building Windows 8 blog promises.
