The Sandgate II can be supplied with one of several debuggers from
Sophia Systems for on-chip debugging, according to Direct Insight.
Stuart Tindall, Direct Insight's sales and marketing director, stated, "Microsoft has made the beta version of Windows CE 6.0 and the corresponding tools widely available prior to the planned November release, and so there is a need for target hardware for users planning early adoption of the new operating system."
AvailabilityThe new Windows CE 6.0 BSP is supplied with complete source code, and the full board schematics are provided as PDF files, according to Direct Insight.
The BSP appears to be available now. However, the company's on-line store describes the Sandgate II as including a
Windows CE 5.0 BSP. Pricing is listed as GBP 3,495 (roughly $6,500).
