The five-day, ten-module class, "Building Embedded Solutions using Windows CE 6.0," covers the use of the Platform Builder development tool (which is now a part of Microsoft Visual Studio 2005), CE 6.0 components, how to build a CE 6.0 BSP (board support package), testing, and related topics, according to Bsquare. Features new to CE 6.0 -- such as the new kernel, new memory model, and enhanced connectivity options -- are also covered.
"Upgrading Your Skills from Windows Embedded CE 5.0 to 6.0" is a two-day, fast-track class for developers familiar with CE 5.0 development. It covers the differences between 5.0 and 6.0, and gives students the skills they need to build systems using CE 6.0, according to Bsquare.
The classes will be taught in Bellevue, Wash. on the following dates:
- Building Embedded Solutions using Windows CE 6.0
- Upgrading Your Skills from Windows Embedded CE 5.0 to 6.0
The new Windows CE 6.0 classes were developed in cooperation with Microsoft, Bsquare said.
