        Windows CE BSP supports Atmel development board

        Adeset has announced a Windows CE board support package (BSP) for Atmel's AT91RM9200-DK development board, which is built around Atmel's AT91RM9200 ARM920T-based processor. The BSP integrates drivers for all standard interfaces on the board, allowing developers to port Windows CE based software to the Atmel board with minimal effort...

        Functionality provided by the BSP is said to include:
        • Bootloader
          • Boot through ethernet
          • Boot from Serial data flash
          • Image update in flash

        • Kernel
          • Full support of AT91RM9200 core
          • Ethernet debugging
          • DBGU trace
          • Power management

        • HMI
          • Display driver
          • Keyboard, Mouse support (through USB Host)

        • Communications
          • Serial port
          • Infrared port
          • Ethernet application layer support
          • USB Host driver for all standard USB peripherals (mouse, keyboard, flash, printer, etc)
          • USB Device driver for ActiveSync connection

        • Storage
          • SD Card driver
          • Serial data flash driver
          • Compact flash driver
        A demo binary version of the BSP is available on CD. Current owners of the AT91RM9200-DK can download a free binary version by contacting the Adeset. Adeset says that the binary will soon be included in the AT91RM9200-DK kits that it sells. A royalty-free source code license is available for 5000 .

        Adeset is a member of Microsoft's Windows Embedded Partner program and is the recipient of the first eMVP (embedded Most Valuable Partner) award in France.
