        Windows CE and ARM7 power rugged data collection handheld

        According to Qubos, the QuPort features a QVGA (320 x 240) screen that provides high contrast and clarity with or without backlight, and is offered with a thermal printer, barcode reader, GSM and GPRS mobile radios, and an internal microphone and speaker.

        For its embedded computer functionality, the QuPort makes use of a tiny (2 x 2 in.) single-board computer (SBC) made by Techsol. The Techsol HY7201 SBC is based on a 60MHz ARM7 processor and supports up to 32MB of RAM and 32MB of Flash memory, 2 serial ports, IrDA, 3 USB Host ports, SPI, I2C, GPIO, LCD, VGA, keyboard, and stereo audio, and provides a 32-bit expansion bus.
