Microsoft has issued the following note regarding susceptibility of Windows CE to the Blaster virus . . .

"No versions of Windows CE, from Windows CE 3.0 to Windows CE .NET 4.2, are vulnerable to the Blaster Worm Virus, a new worm otherwise known as 'W32.Blaster.Worm'. The Windows CE code base is customized from the ground up and is different from the desktop code base for which the virus was designed. Any attempts to run this virus on a Windows CE device will fail due to differences in the underlying code between Window CE and the desktop."
