Albatron has announced a 12-ounce tablet PC that includes a seven-inch touchscreen display and runs Windows CE 6.0. The "Tee PC" includes a swiveling camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, an SD expansion slot, and a speaker-equipped docking station, according to the company.

The Tee PC comes with a seven-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. It also has a camera that can be swiveled to face toward or away from the user, offering 1.3 megapixels for stills, and VGA resolution for videoconferencing.

The device's processor is not named, but is said to use an ARM926 core and to be clocked at 400MHz. The Tee PC has 128MB of DDR RAM, installed in an SO-DIMM slot, and 128MB of flash storage. It also accepts additional memory via an SD expansion slot.

The Tee PC includes a 3.5mm headphone jack, but its only other port is a docking station connector. Fortunately, the device ships with the docking station (above), which includes two USB ports, audio line in/out jacks, a power input jack, and stereo speakers.

A wired Ethernet connector is notably absent. However, both WiFi and Bluetooth are onboard the tablet itself, according to the company.

The Tee PC's Windows CE 6.0 installation apparently includes the Windows desktop, Wordpad, Internet Explorer, Windows Media Player, and Remote Desktop Connection client software. The device can decode VGA-resolution H.264 and MPEG4 videos at 30 frames per second, the company claims.

The Tee PC packs a 10.8W/hr. battery, says Albatron, but no claims were made about how long the tablet will operate on a charge. The device measures 7.4 x 4.44 x 0.5 inches and weighs 12 ounces, according to the company.
