        Windows Media 9 incorporated into HD DVD Video spec

        At its meeting held in Tokyo last month, the DVD Forum Steering Committee provisionally approved making support for MPEG2, Windows Media 9, and MPEG4 video CODECs mandatory in the High Definition DVD Video specification for playback devices.
