(Click here for a slightly larger view of the Hop-On PDA 2001)Hop-On says its exclusive software will allow streaming "live interactive feeds from legal jurisdictions to play poker, blackjack, roulette, and baccarat." Other than that, however, the PDA 2001 appears to offer a laundry list of standard smartphone features, including Office document editing and other features found in Windows Mobile 6 Professional.
For example, the device includes 802.11b/g WiFi, along with stereo Bluetooth 2.0 capabilities said to support up to six simultaneous pairings. It also has a three-megapixel camera with autofocus and a claimed 10x zoom.
Built in GPS functionality is provided, though operation requires using the subscription-based TeleNav GPS Navigator service. This is said to provide turn-by-turn directions via voice or on screen, plus restaurant reviews and ratings and a feature allowing users to share their current location with others.
The PDA 2001 has a 2.8-inch touchscreen with 320 x 240 resolution. It uses a Qualcomm MSM7200 processor clocked at 400MHz, along with 128MB of RAM, 256MB of flash, and a microSD expansion slot.
