The device reportedly is yet another new design from
Taiwan device-maker HTC, and is also known as the HTC Juno or Dopod C750. Apparently positioned as a mid-range device, the Shadow does not include GPS, but does feature a 2 megapixel camera, stereo Bluetooth, and WiFi functionality.
Touting the device's instant messaging capabilities, T-Mobile says the phone has four IM clients built in: Windows Live Messenger, AOL Instant Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, and ICQ. Also cited is wireless synchronization with Microsoft Exchange 2003, and access to multiple email accounts.
T-Mobile does not specify whether the Shadow runs Windows Mobile 6 standard or Windows Mobile 6 Professional. However, the device is said to permit viewing and editing of Microsoft Office documents. The phone also offers T-Mobile's customized "My Faves" interface, described as allowing "fun top-screen picture sharing of special moments."

Nuance's XT9 predictive software to speed text entry through word completion. In a novel touch, the central scroll wheel is said to light up when it's being used.
