In comparison to the PM80, LG says, the N1 is slimmer (measuring 92 x 86 x 16.5mm), has more memory, and adds a built-in GPS receiver. However, specifics on the device's processor and RAM/flash memory capacities were not immediately evident, although the device is rumored to have a 3.5-inch LCD panel and an SD card slot for memory expansion.

The technology is said to provide "full audio rendering" that produces home-theater style surround sound on handheld devices such as mobile phones and media players, using headphones or standard earbuds. Additionally, when users listen to music on their devices, the SRS Mobile HD produces "enhanced 3D stereo sound with deep, rich bass, and greater audio realism," the company claims.
The LG N1 PDA is currently available throughout Korea, according to SRS Labs.
