        Windows Mobile PDA/phone boasts 4 Mp camera

        Russian mobile phone vendor Voxtel has released a new Windows Mobile Pocket PC phone with a 4 Mpixel camera. At just 15 mm thick, the W740 is also one of the thinnest Pocket PCs on the market.

        The the tri-band GSM/GPRS W740 Pocket PC phone is powered by a 200 MHz TI OMAP 730 processor, and packs 64 MB of RAM and 128 MB of flash memory.

        Voxtel lists the following key features and specifications for the W740:
        • Processor -- TI OMAP 730 at 200 MHz
        • Memory -- 64 MB RAM, 128 MB flash
        • Display -- 2.4-inch QVGA TFT LCD, 16-bit color
        • Camera:
          • 4 Mpixel CCD, video capable
          • max. resolution -- 2304 x 1728
          • auto focus
        • Wireless
          • Tri-band GSM 900/1800/1900
          • GPRS class 10
          • Bluetooth 1.2, profiles:
            • headset
            • hands free
            • serial port
            • dial up network
        • Multimedia:
          • audio -- MIDI, MP3, WMA, WAV
          • video -- AVI, ASF, WMV
        • Dimensions -- 4.17 x 2.17 x 0.59 inches (106 x 55.2 x 15 mm)
        • Weight -- 120 g
        Voxtel did not reveal when or where the W740 would be available, nor was any pricing disclosed. Presumably, the device will be available initially in Russia.
