Both the
838Pro and the C720W are manufactured for Dopod by parent company HTC, which
acquired Dopod last summer. Additionally, HTC markets both devices under its own name -- the 838Pro as the HTC
TyTN PDA/phone, and the C720W as the
S620 smartphone.
The Blackberry Connect service for these two Dopod devices is now available in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Malaysia. Availability in other countries in the region will be announced "at a later date," Dopod says.
