Tao says miniMIXA has gotten a "hugely positive reception" since first being demonstrated at the ISEA2004 music festival's FutureDJ dance set, held in Reading, England in August. It has been nominated for a 2005 BAFTA (British Academy of Film & Television Arts) Interactive Award, in the Music category.
According to the company, SSEYO miniMIXA++ premium version is a multi-channel audio mixer, sequencer, DJ system, FX unit, and recording studio application for the Microsoft Windows Mobile platform. Users can create mixes from drums, basses, chords, leads, and custom sounds, and then apply per-track sound effects, such as pitch shifting and time stretching, for an "almost infinite number" of different possible combinations.
SSEYO miniMIXA++ is available from the company's website for $20 to $30, depending on target platform. A restricted functionality demo version is available for free download. MIXApaks are $10 each.
