Microsoft will host another of its Windows XP Embedded "live chats" on Oct. 16. Members of the Windows XP Embedded team will be on hand to answer questions about the tools and technologies used to develop devices using the Windows XP Embedded OS, and receive developer feedback on the product.

According to Windows XP Embedded program manager Shayna Begun, the chat is scheduled for 10:00 AM PDT. This time around, it will feature a special guest, XP Embedded MVP Brad Combs, Begun said in this post on the XPe Team blog.

Combs is the owner of Imago Technologies, "focused on consulting services and software development for the embedded industry," and the creator of XPeFiles.com, according to Begun. XPeFiles.com is described as a community-driven site for components, tutorials, and information about Windows XP Embedded.

"He will be speaking about and answering questions around how to use ImageX and WIM files to deploy Windows XP Embedded," wrote Begun. "We will of course still welcome any question related to XPe during the chat, as we will have lots of product team members on board to help answer all questions and respond to comments."
