The production release of Windows XP Embedded SP2 Feature Pack 2007 has been RTMd (released to manufacturing) and is "winding its way through the processes" for posting to Microsoft's download site, according to a Windows XP Embedded Team blog post.

An evaluation version is currently available.

The evaluation version of Feature Pack 2007 is currently downloadable here. In the blog post, Windows Embedded team member Andy Allred notes that, because the license terms differ between the evaluation and final "retail" versions, users of the eval version will need to uninstall it prior to installing the retail version.

Allred also encourages all users who have questions, problems, or feedback to contact the team via the XPe team blog, the newsgroup, or the XPe team's email address. Team members are even available by phone. "Use that email alias listed above (wecrt), tell me you want to talk to someone on the product team, and tell me the subject, I'm happy to call you," says Allred.
