(Click here for larger image)All three new VR38r series models include a 1D barcode scanner along with both Bluetooth and 802.11b/g WiFi wireless functions. Both the 07 and 07a add a 1.3 Mpixel camera, fingerprint reader, and GPS receiver. Additionally, the 07a is "Trade Agreement Act (TAA) compliant" to support government sales, Viewsonic says.
Viewsonic lists the following common features and specifications for the new V38r models:

The V38r-07 and -07a add:
- Camera -- 1.3 Mpixel with LED illuminator
- Fingerprint reader -- 128 x 128 pattern sensor, 7.2 mm square, 500 pixels per inch
