Additionally, the V212 upgrades the processor to 520 MHz clock rate, among other enhancements relative to the company's earlier
model V210 tablet.
Viewsonic says the V212's optional magnetic stripe reader equips it for vertical markets such as healthcare and retail, where it can quickly capture and process patient or customer information such as drivers' licenses, health insurance IDs, or credit cards.
The company lists the following key features and specifications for the new V212:

The V212 Wireless Tablet Client is available now, at a list price of $1,499, according to Viewsonic.
