        XP Embedded refills tummies during gas tank fill-ups

        More and more convenience retailers and foodservice providers are deploying self-service kiosks inside their stores, according to Radiant Systems, a supplier of self-service kiosks based on Windows XP Embedded.         installing outdoor self-service kiosks at its fueling islands.

        Radiant says its K610 outdoor kiosk features a bright 15-inch durable touch screen, a weather-resistant enclosure, a protected receipt printer, and a flexible design that accomodates custom signage. The kiosk is also designed to allow added features such as debit pin pads and magnetic stripe readers for credit, debit, loyalty, and gift card processing.

        Key features and specifications of the K610 kiosk include:
