The REV-7820 uses a PXA255 processor clocked at 400 MHz with 64 MB of SDRAM and 64 MB of NOR Flash on board. The 5.7 inch QVGA LCD display includes a 4-wire resistive touchscreen. I/O ports include two each:
        • 10/100 Base-T Ethernet
        • RS-232
        • USB host
        • USB slave
Two digital input and three digital output bits are also available. The unit accepts +12 VDC power.

Evalue says the REV-7820 comes with a binary board support package for Windows CE along with an "advanced" testing utility that verifies all interfaces and I/O functions. The device also supports Linux 2.4 and 2.6 kernels.

Evalue offers comprehensive custom design and consulting services based on the REV-7820. Services include hardware and software specification and custom driver and kernel configuration, third party software integration, and other services as needed, according to the company.

Price and availability were not disclosed.
