        Symbol Technologies has introduced a Pocket PC-based handheld that runs on the 400 MHz Intel XScale PXA250 processor equipped with 64/128 MB RAM and 64MB ROM. The PPT 8000 is 7.3 in. x 3.6 x 1.8 in. in size and has a large 3.9 in. VGA display (320 x 240 portrait) with 64k color. Wireless options are available both integrated (802.11b) and the Socket Bluetooth module is supported.
