        NEC's device is based on the company's 168MHz NEC MIPS processor amd runs Microsoft's Windows for Handheld PC 2000. The handheld is equipped with 24MB ROM, 32MB RAM, and 16MB internal Flash memory with PCMCIA and CompactFlash expansion slots.


        Other interfaces include serial, VGA out, infrared transmitter/receiver, and an audio jack, plus the device is equipped with an integrated V.90 modem. At under 2 pounds and just 1.1 in. thick, it features an 8.1 in. diagonal, half-VGA DSTN color touchscreen, and QWERTY keyboard.
