
The ruggedized IT-6000 is based on a 400 MHz Intel XScale processor running Windows CE .NET. It boasts dust and water-splash proofing with an IP54 Rating and can survive a 1.2 meter drop, according to Bitatek. The built-in laser/CCD scanner reads industry standard barcodes. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, 802.11b and a wireless WAN module (GPRS, GSM, CDMA, etc.).

The older IQ-3000 (photo at right) is based on an Intel StrongARM processor running Windows CE 3.0. In addition to built-in barcode scanning capabilities, the device includes IrDA and USB interfaces. Features and specifications of the IQ-3000 include:
