        Four models of the IT-500 will be available by mid-2003, featuring various combinations of built-in optional features such digital camera, Bluetooth radio, and 802.11b wireless LAN. The wireless LAN version will also provide a built-in microphone and speaker along with the capability of being used for VoIP phone communications. All models of the IT-500 feature dust- and water-resistance (compliant with IP54) as well as shock-resistance for falls of up to 1 meter.
